chilli paste /mulaku arachathu

Plain dosa with chilli paste /mulaku arachathu
This chilli paste is sooo hot and a micro mini portion is enough for a piece of dosa to go in. Except me everyone enjoys the taste at home.  Looks colorful and tasty… with less time to prepare this recipe, goes well with kappa/tapioca, all varieties of dosas, chapatis and rotis. Instead of Mixer grinder I used the stone grinder to make a fine paste. People season this grinded mixture with mustard seeds and curry leaves but without that is very simple.

Ingredients:
To grind:
Red chilli – soaked, 3-4
Small onion/ cherulli – 5-7
Salt for taste
Coconut oil – as required
Curry leaves – a sprig


Method:

Soak chilli in water for 10 minutes - grind it with small onion and salt. Once done add curry leaves and transfer it to a bowl. Pour coconut oil on top and is ready to serve with dosas.
