Onion with chilli/Ullium Mulakum

Onion with chilli/Ullium Mulakum
It takes just 5 minutes to chop the items and an easy side dish is ready for all varieties of dosas. Was on our way back from Guruvayoor after BIL’s wedding and we had our tiffin from Indian cafĂ© @ Haripad. I preferred Dosa while they served this Ullium Mulakum with that. It was hot but tasty and today I tried it with my own mix of lemon juice to reduce the chilli taste. It beats most of my combinations with dosa like tomato chutney, sambar and kara chutney. The best part is less time to cook. While we have dosa mix ready to treat our surprise guests we go running after coconuts, mixer etc etc… this idea gives you more time to chat with your buddies. Try this and enjoy!

Ingredients:
Onion – 2, chopped
Tomato – 1, chopped
Green chillies – 1, chopped
Lemon juice – 2 tsp
Chilli powder – ½ tsp
Salt – for taste

Method:
Mix together the items included in the ingredients list. Add required salt as per your taste. Ullium Mulakum mix is ready for your normal dosa, wheat dosa and ragi dosa.
