Bitter Gourd Fry

Bitter Gourd / Pavakka Fry
It’s different from the usual Pavakka Mizhukku Puratti specially made for my ‘little kisna’! This nasty veggie turns crispy fry with few ingredients making the perfect treasure in his lunch box. Should Thank Geeta madam for this recipe. Try this for your little champs…

Ingredients:
Bitter Gourd – Medium size, 1
Oil – for frying
Mustard – 1 tsp
Corriander leaves – 1 tsp

Batter mix:
All purpose flour – 1/2 tsp
Rice flour – 1 tsp
Chilli powder – 1 tsp
Salt – for taste

Method:
Mix all purpose flour, rice flour, chilli powder and salt with few drops of water. Add chopped bitter gourd with the mixture. Heat oil in a frying pan – add mustard – deep fry the mixture. Serve with meal.



N.B:  Add salt with chopped bitter gourd and squeeze with your hand – your bitter gourd will not taste much bitter.
